Child, 4, Stabbed In Passaic County: Prosecutor

No arrests have been announced in the case.

PATERSON, NJ — A 4-year-old child in Paterson was hospitalized after getting stabbed multiple times, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office (PCPO).

Paterson police were dispatched just after 4 p.m. Friday to a home around East 24th Street and 10th Avenue. At the scene, officers found a child with multiple stab wounds, authorities said.

The victim was brought to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center, where they were admitted and in stable condition as of Friday night.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been announced. More information will be released when it becomes available, the PCPO said.
