Chilton CEO Appointed to William Paterson Board

Deborah Zastocki was named the first woman president in the hospital's history.

Deborah Zastocki, president and chief executive officer of Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, has been appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees of William Paterson University.

Zastocki was named the first woman president and CEO of Chilton in 2004. She has also held other administrative positions at the hospital. She received Garden State Magazine’s Woman of the Year Award for Healthcare in 2008.

Governor Chris Christie appoints college trustees on the advice and consent of the State Senate.

“Her experience as a state-wide leader in health care brings valuable expertise to our university, so noted for its nursing and allied health programs,” said university President Kathleen Waldron in a statement.
