Chris McIntyre To Be Honored For Decades Of Service

Councilman Chris McIntyre will receive the Man of the Year award by the Wayne Elks Lodge for his years of service to the community.

McIntyre will be given the award as a dinner Saturday.

McIntyre has been an active member of the Wayne Memorial First Aid Squad since 1980. In addition to his two decades on the council as its lone Democrat, he’s served on the Planning Board, Library Board of Trustees, and the Public Safety Commission.
