WAYNE, NJ — The most wonderful time of the year is approaching, and Wayne is ready to celebrate. Here's what's on the calendar for the township's holiday festivities.

Menorah Lighting

Town Hall, 7 p.m. Nov. 29

Join community rabbis, Mayor Christopher Vergano and local dignitaries for the ceremony. The event will feature singing, dancing and refreshments. Hanukkah will take place this year from the evening of Nov. 28 to the night of Dec. 6. Find more info here.

Town Hall, 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2, (rain/snow date Dec. 3)

A slate of festivities awaits at the tree lighting, including a visit from Santa. Back to Rock will begin with holiday music at 6:30 p.m., followed by the tree lighting at around 7 p.m. Cub Scout Pack 104 will host a holiday sing-along at 7:10, and Santa and Mrs. Clus will be there from 7:15-8 p.m. Bring your letter to Santa.
