Constituents Begin Voicing Opinions With Rep. Frelinghuysen Weekly In Wayne
Constituents gather Wednesdays at Town Hall for Wayne Wednesdays With Rodney.

WAYNE, NJ — Local constituents are making their opinions known to Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th) with weekly visits to his staff at Town Hall.
Wayne Wednesdays With Rodney started April 5 with a few residents going to the longtime congressman's office. Now, about 30 people congregate there. Small groups meet with a member of Frelinghuysen's staff for a few minutes. Democrats, Independents and Republicans usually attend the gatherings.
The meetings are similar to ones held at Frelinghuysen's Morristown office by the grassroots group 11th For Change. The Wayne meetings begin at 10:45 a.m. at Town Hall, 475 Valley Road.

"In one month we've done really well thanks to some very special people, but truth be told, we need to get bigger in order to raise our visibility," said Sal Schifano, a member of the Wayne Democratic Club. "Bring a friend, bring a neighbor, bring a letter or bring your voice. There really are a lot of people out there who share our concerns."
Frelinghuysen has received a lot of criticism lately for not meeting with people in person, but for voting in favor of the American Health Care Act — legislation he announced ahead of the vote he would not support.
