Detour For Bridge Construction In North Haledon Begins Wednesday
The project is expected to last four weeks, said county officials. A lane closure and detour will be in place 24/7 until it is complete.

NORTH HALEDON, NJ — Construction near the intersection of High Mountain Road and Sicomac Road in North Haledon will impact traffic for several weeks, said Passaic County officials.
Officials said the scheduled start date for construction on the Sicomac Road Bridge is Wednesday, August 9. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The project is expected to last four weeks, county officials said. A lane closure and detour will be in place 24 hours a day until it is complete.

"All travelers in this area must remain alert to construction equipment and watch carefully for the safety of construction workers," officials added.
The bridge, which is 27 feet long and 30 feet wide, runs over Molly Ann's Brook. NJ Department of Transportation officials estimate it was built around 1905, according to state records.
