Disability Resource Fair Coming To Wayne YMCA
Activities include games, lectures for caregivers and a performance from musician and autism advocate Cory Singer.
WAYNE, NJ — The Wayne YMCA will hold a disability resource fair, featuring games, lectures for caregivers, a performance from musician and autism advocate Cory Singer, and more. The event takes place from 12-4 p.m. Sept. 10 at the YMCA (1 Pike Dr.).
Organizers intend to "educate, empower and advocate" for people with disabilities and their families. The event will also include live demonstrations, snacks and vendors that provide resources and services in the community.
Singer is slated for a special appearance from 2-4 p.m. The New Jersey native won the grand prize on "The Kandi Factory," a singing competition on Bravo TV.

He also became an advocate for people with autism and their families. Singer used his TikTok to promote positivity and has coined the phrase "Let's Normalize Autism." His TikTok account has more than 400,000 followers.
