District To Use New Elementary School Report Cards

Third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders will receive letter grades. Progress indicators have been refined.

Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will receive assessments on an “A through F’ scale again as district officials have revised the district’s elementary school report cards.

A Report Card Committee reviewed recommendations from administrators, teachers, and parent this past spring.

In addition to the changes for grades 3 through 5, progress indicators have also been refined for kindergartners through fifth grade “to more clearly communicate student achievement and progress,” a notice on the district’s website staes.
