Drunken Driver Crashes Into Wayne Home, Cops Say
The car veered off the road, damaging the home's gas meter and foundation, authorities said.
WAYNE, NJ — A driver in Wayne has been arrested after crashing into a residence, police say.
On Friday, police were called to a home on Ratzer Road on reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Authorities discovered that a car, driven by 25-year-old Joseph Delnero, had slammed into the home after driving off the roadway, police said.

Officials added that the impact damaged the foundation and the gas meter in the residence.
Investigators determined that Delnero was drunk at the time of the crash, police said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical breath test.
