Entenmann's Bakery Outlet Closes Permanently In Wayne

The closure leaves one Entenmann's store left in New Jersey.

WAYNE, NJ — Wayne recently lost a business. Entenmann's Bakery Outlet on Riverview Drive closed permanently.

The closure leaves one remaining Entemann's Bakery in New Jersey — in Edison, Middlesex County.

A company spokesperson told Patch the following:

"The Wayne outlet closed permanently on December 4, 2021 and we will redistribute products to other locations in the area. Our consumers can still enjoy all their favorite baked goods and are encouraged to use our outlet locator to find their nearest location. Mexican conglomerate Grupo Bimbo bought Entenmann's in 2008. The outlet in Wayne sold products from both Entenmann's and Bimbo Bakeries.

Most outlets are now closing as the company shifts more toward stocking the products in supermarkets. Entenmann's treats include crumb cakes, donuts and Little Bites.
