Enterprise Holdings Gives Back to Northern New Jersey Community in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Wayne, NJ, March 29, 2017- Employees of Enterprise Holdings’ New York administrative office – located in Northern New Jersey – recently worked with CUMAC to give back to the community in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Enterprise Holdings – through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries and franchises – operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands at more than 9,600 fully staffed neighborhood and airport locations.
On January 16, 2017, 30 Enterprise employees helped to fill the food pantry shelves in Passaic County. Enterprise donated 3,334 pounds of food (1,728 cans), 20 cases of diapers, four cases of wipes, and 2,000 plastic bags. They sorted and packed donations.
“Through our work with the CUMAC, we were able to help those less fortunate within our community,” said Kim Hurley-Italiano, human resources coordinator for Enterprise Holdings’ New York operations. “It’s through community initiatives such as these that we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service.”
Additionally, Enterprise employees helped to set up the Financial Empowerment Zone at Center City Mall. The Financial Empowerment Zone will help thousands of families and individuals come get their taxes done for free and receive other financial services like insurance signup and help with financial aid forms for college.
Enterprise employees also assisted with inventory at the United Way Thrift Store, Revivo, now open to public.
