This wine is a generous Super Tuscan blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Merlot crafted by Carlo Ferrini, the award winning winemaker at Tenuta Sette Ponti. Carlo was the recipient of the 2007 Winemaker of the Year award from The Wine Enthusiast, and currently consults for some of the top estates in Tuscany. Estate grown in Castiglion Fibocchi, the La Serena represents an excellent value for an everyday, yet serious Italian wine.
