Women In Transition Offers FREE Classes and Workshops for Eligible Women:
What do you need to do in order to get a job? Update your resume? Learn basic computer skills? Figure out what kind of job is right for you? Women In Transition (WIT) assists women who need to re-enter the workforce due to separation, divorce, or the death or disability of a spouse, resulting in the loss of their primary source of financial support. WIT offers vocational testing, job readiness classes, workshops on self-esteem and assertive communication, resume and interview assistance, computer training, and separation and divorce support groups at no cost for eligible women. WIT is conveniently located in the Wayne Counseling Center at 1022 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne. Wayne Counseling and Family Services (973-694-1234) provides counseling for drug and alcohol abuse and treatment for marital, family, and mental health problems.
