Facts and Myths About Stuttering

Jim Tsiamtsiouris, chair of communication disorders and sciences at William Paterson University, will explore the factors that contribute to stuttering.

Genetics, neurophysiology, child development, and family dynamics are thought to contribute to the development of stuttering.

Tsiamtsiouris will discuss how a speech-language pathologist can help those who stutter make significant progress toward improved communication.

The event will take place in the Cheng Library, which is located near the main parking lot.
