RSVP FOR LECH LECHA - A CEREMONY OF GOING FORTH - FOR GRADUATES

At its Friday night service, on June 15 at 8:00 P.M., Shomrei Torah, the Wayne Conservative Congregation, located at 30 Hinchman Avenue in Wayne, will
be holding a special ceremony to honor 2012 graduates of high school, college and graduate school.  The ceremony
recognizes that while graduation means moving on to new challenges, new experiences, new responsibilities, and new places, it is also a time to remember one’s connection to home, synagogue and community.

There will be special speakers, special prayers, special songs, special gifts, a special commemorative booklet, and, probably some special tears.

A dessert buffet (Oneg Shabbat) will follow services and will be sponsored by parents of the graduates and the synagogue’s Koach/College Committee.  Koach makes sure that Shomrei Torah’s college students stay connected all year long by sending them special holiday gifts and surprises throughout the year.

The evening is open to the community and all 2012 graduates and their parents are invited to attend, whether or not they are members of Shomrei Torah.  Also welcome are students who are already attending college/graduate school and who would like to share their experiences
with the recent graduates.

Please contact Shomrei Torah to RSVP at 973-696-2500 or office@ShomreiTorahWCC.org  Anyone who cannot attend the service, but who would still like information about Koach during the year, should also contact the synagogue.
