RSVP for SAKE, SOBA, & SUSHI IN SHOMREI’S SUKKAH

What are soba and udon?  Do you know the difference
between nigirishushi, makisushi, and temaki?  What’s good wasabe?  How is it made?  Where can you find kaiseki?  Learn all this and more on Wednesday, October
3 at 6:30 pm when the Men’s Club of Shomrei Torah – the Wayne Conservative Congregation invites the community, including potential members, to share sushi and sake (kosher of course) in Shomrei Torah’s Sukkah.  The dinner will be followed by a brief Ma-ariv service at 8:00 pm.  Shomrei Torah is located at 30 Hinchman Avenue in Wayne.

The cost is $10 per person; $5 per child under age of 10 (pasta will also be available for kids who don’t like sushi) in advance - $12 /$6 at the door.  RSVP to the synagogue office by Thursday, September 27 to 973-696-2500 or office@ShomreiTorahWCC.org.

Shomrei Torah's Men’s Club, committed to fun, fund, and consciousness-raising, is an integral part of synagogue life.  It puts up the sukkah, organizes the Purim Carnival, hosts the World Wide Wrap, arranges for the Holocaust Yellow Candle Program, sponsors Blood Drives, football parties, inter-shul basketball and softball games, and, its ever popular poker and beer night affectionately known as “Lag-er B’Omer.”  Membership in the Club does not require
membership in Shomrei Torah.
