
Shomrei Torah, the Wayne Conservative
Congregation, presents a beautiful and unique way to welcome in a summer Shabbat.
Festivities begin at 5:45 pm on Friday, August 15, 2012 with a Tot Shabbat geared for children 6 years and
younger with songs and stories and fun. Their
parents and siblings are welcome to attend as well.
A special pre-Shabbat picnic barbecue begins at
6:15 pm.

Then Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma-ariv services follow at 7:30 pm outside under the stars. The evening will conclude with a buffet dessert (Oneg Shabbat) reception.
The event is open to the community and non-members of Shomrei Torah are welcome – just bring a blanket or folding chair to sit on. In the event of rain,
dinner and services will be held indoors.

The cost for the barbecue is $12 per adult, $8
per child, $36 maximum per family. RSVP
by August 3 to the synagogue office at 973-696-2500 or office@ShomreiTorahWCC.org. One need not attend the barbecue to attend either of the services or the dessert reception for which there is no charge.
