Every Student Eats Free In Wayne Public Schools
The public school district has been approved to offer each student free breakfast and lunch each day they're in school this year.
WAYNE, NJ — Breakfast and lunch won't be a problem for Wayne Township Public Schools students this year, as the district has been approved to offer those meals free to students.
The township announced that the approval means that from the first day of school until June 22, 2022, students will be offered a free breakfast and lunch each day they are in school.
According to the district, the meals will be "safely packaged" for quick distribution, and will "have the required components of a complete meal" as described by the School Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program.
