'Exceptional' Wayne High School Graduate Wins College Scholarship
Students around the state received a $1,500 scholarship for college tuition assistance from Spencer Savings Bank.
WAYNE, NJ — Two Passaic County high school graduates have been awarded scholarships from Spencer Savings Bank to help pay for their college tuition, the bank said.
This year, bank awarded $37,500 in scholarships to local high school graduates in the Spencer Savings Bank market area (Bergen, Passaic, Union, Mercer, Morris and Essex counties).
Adrianna Gialanela (Wayne Hills High School) and Jenan Yousef (Clifton High School) were the $1,500 scholarship winners in Passaic County.

School guidance counselors and scholarship committees selected the award winners, according to the bank. Students celebrated at a scholarship ceremony in Elmwood Park earlier this month.
Spencer Savings Bank has awarded more than $600,000 to "exceptional students" across the state since 2002, the bank said in a news release.
