Fifth-Graders Graduate from D.A.R.E. Program
National program teaches kids how to say 'no' to using drugs and alcohol.
Fifth graders at A.P. Terhune Elementary School graduated from the school's D.A.R.E. program March 22.
Students shared their winning essays and posters they created for the program at the ceremony.
The D.A.R.E. program is a national initiative designed to teach children to resist taking drugs and drinking alcohol.
