Final Wayne BOE Election Results Will Be Known Monday
Suzanne Pudup currently leads Cheryl Gambutti by 13 votes.

WAYNE, N.J. — The winner of the final seat on the Board of Education will be known Monday when provisional ballots are counted.
Suzanne Pudup leads Cheryl Gambutti 4,271 to 4,258. Those numbers include overseas, provisional, mail-in ballots, and those cast on Election Day. The voting totals include ballots cast at a voting machine cast in Ward five, District three that broke down. The ballots had to be extracted directly from the machine's hard drive.

The ballots will be counted at the Passaic County Complex Monday at 9 a.m.
Election results will not be official until Passaic County Clerk Kristen Corrado certifies the votes, which could take some time, Wayne Clerk Paul Margiotta said.

Incumbent school trustees Michael Bubba and Mitchell Badiner were reelected to the board.
