First Day Of School In Wayne: 5 Dates To Know For The School Year
Students return Tuesday to Wayne schools. Here are 5 dates to know as the 2022-23 school year gets underway.
WAYNE, NJ — School is right around the corner, with students returning Tuesday to Wayne Township Public Schools.
Here are a few dates to know for the 2022-23 school year:
- Sept. 6: first day of school for students.
- Sept. 26-27: schools closed for Rosh Hashanah.
- Oct. 5: schools closed for Yom Kippur
- Nov. 8 and 10-11: Nov. 8 is a full staff in-service day, while the New Jersey Education Association's convention will fall on Nov. 10-11. Students will be off for those three days.
- Nov. 23: a minimal day the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
