Former Wayne Police Chief Raymond Riga died Thursday.
Riga, 69, of Totowa, was chief of the Wayne Police Department for 20 years before retiring in 2005.
He was in Paterson and lived in Wayne for 20 years before moving to Totowa in 1992, his obituary states.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine, and son, Raymond. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis.
