Protect Those Plants: Frost Advisory Tuesday Morning In Wayne

Tuesday morning frost could damage sensitive plants or vegetation if they are left uncovered, said forecasters.

WAYNE, NJ — Temperatures as low as the mid-30s Tuesday morning will result in some frost in Wayne and parts of Passaic County, said the National Weather Service.

A frost advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to the NWS. Forecasters recommend that people take steps to protect tender plants from the cold, as frost could damage or kill sensitive outdoor plants.

Monday night will be mostly cloudy with a north wind becoming calmer in the evening.
