Girl, 15, Fatally Shot, 4 Wounded In Passaic Co.: Prosecutor
Authorities haven't publicly identified the teen from North Haledon.
PATERSON, NJ — A shooting killed a 15-year-old girl and wounded four men Wednesday night in Paterson, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office. The four men were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities didn't publicly identify anyone involved as of Thursday morning. The investigation remains active.
Police went to Madison and Essex Streets just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to respond to a shooting. They found the 15-year-old girl — later pronounced dead at the scene — lying in front of 36 Essex St., the prosecutor's office said.

The injured victims were all men from Paterson — ages 29, 26, 32 and 21.
