Health Department Hosting Blood Screenings Friday

The Wayne Health Department will be hosting a S.M.A.C. blood screening from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at the department’s office in the municipal complex.

Individuals being screened must fast at least 12 hours before their scheduled test.

The screening costs $25. For an additional cost the following tests will be available: PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) and Hepatitis B, $25; Hepatitis C, $20; TSH, $22; Homocystine High Sensitive Cardiac CRP, $32; Hemoglobin A1C, $15; Vitamin D, $22, and blood type, $11.

Pre-registration is required.
