WAYNE, NJ — Township schools will be on a minimal day schedule Thursday due to rising temperatures.
A heat advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Thursday. The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook.
The minimal day schedule is:

Grades 1 through 5: 8:55 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Morning kindergarten and morning kindergarten wrap: 8:55 to 11:35 a.m.

Afternoon kindergarten and kindergarten wrap: 10:35 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Morning preschool: 8:20 to 9:55 a.m.
Afternoon preschool: 10:55 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Full-day preschool: 8:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
High schools: 7:20 a.m. to 12:03 p.m.
Middle schools: 8 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.
Elementary extended day: 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m.
