Heidi Cruz Campaigns For Husband In Wayne: Report
Wife of Republican candidate said Ted Cruz will 'protect Constitutional freedom, not his viewpoint,' if elected.
WAYNE, N.J. — Heidi Cruz campaigned for her husband, Ted, in the township Wednesday, reminding about 100 supporters that he will "protect constitutional freedom, not his viewpoint, but that of the constitution," The Record reported.
"This country only works if there is an active democracy," Cruz said in the report. "And democracy only works if we work hard."
Ted Cruz is the only candidate who has beaten Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

New Jersey's presidential primary is June 7; 51 Republican delegates are up for grabs.
“We have seven weeks to educate New Jersey voters as to who Ted Cruz is,” Heidi Cruz said in the report.
