WAYNE, NJ — No meetings are on the municipal calendar in Wayne this week, but a celebration of baseball's opening day is.

Brightview Baseball Celebration

Brightview Senior Living hosts a celebration of opening day on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

From Brightview:

"Come meet former Yankee World Series Pitcher, Johnny Kucks cousin Hannah! She is part of our all star team and will tell you why Brightview Wayne will be a hit with Jersey Seniors. We will be offering hotdogs, cracker jacks, and beverages in this drive by event. The first 25 visitors will receive a Brightview ballcap and a picture of Johnny!"

Town Hall closure

Town Hall will be closed on Good Friday, according to the municipal calendar.
