Here's Where Passaic County Is Offering COVID-19 Tests This Week

The Board of Chosen Freeholders is offering free coronavirus tests at three locations in Passaic County this week.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Passaic County will establish three coronavirus testing sites this week throughout the county, offering free testing to all county residents.

The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders are hosting the initiative, which offers the mobile sites using saliva testing.

Testing dates and locations have been announced for the first week of December. They are:

  • Dec. 1 at Passaic Community College, 500 Union Ave., Wanaque
  • Dec. 3 at Camp Hope, Union Valley Road, West Milford
  • Dec. 5 at the Passaic County Offices, 930 Riverview Dr., Totowa

Results are typically available 48 to 72 hours after the test, the county said.

Due to the nature of the saliva test, those hoping to be tested shouldn't eat, drink, smoke or chew gum at least 30 minutes prior to testing.

The county asks that residents bring a smartphone or tablet for registration.
