High Mountain Meadow Poetry Series Features Tom Plante

Tom Plante studied Geography at the University of California in Berkeley and worked for several newspapers.

On Sunday, January 12, 2020 the High Mountain Meadow Poetry Series will meet in the Wayne Public Library Meeting Room at 2:00 pm. January’s featured poet is Tom Plante, with an Open Mic session following. This Series is sponsored by the North Jersey Literary Community and hosted by Denise La Neve and Paul Nash. This program is supported by the Wayne Public Library and is free and open to the public.

Tom Plante studied Geography at the University of California in Berkeley and worked for several newspapers, including The Berkeley Barb, The Irish Echo, and The Courier News, in the County of Union, New Jersey. Tom published Berkeley Works magazine (1981-85) and has published Exit 13 Magazine, an annual poetry journal, since 1988, Lips Magazine, Tiferet Journal, Ireland of the Welcomes, Edison Literary Review, US1 Worksheets, Meta-Land Poets of the Palisades, Home Planet News and elsewhere. His collections of poems include “Atlas Apothecary” (Finishing Line Press, 2016). Tom and his wife Patricia have lived in Fanwood, NJ since 1988.

The Wayne Public Library is a barrier free building and meets all ADA regulations.
