Wayne Hills students helped to save several lives Wednesday by giving blood.
Many students participated in the 12th annual student council-sponsored blood drive.
"I have enough blood," student Anthony Distrso said. "I feel like if you give, you're giving someone a chance to survive. I feel everyone should give blood for that reason. Pay it forward."

Community Blood Services of Bergen County ran the blood drive. The donated blood will be separated into platelets, red blood cells, and plasma.
"It's probably the ultimate form of giving. You're saving three lives and it promotes giving, which is a really good thing," said Joe Turso, student council advisor.
