July 4 Fireworks Coming Up In Passaic County: See Where, When

WAYNE, NJ — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around Wayne and Passaic County.
Patch gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Wayne so you can start planning now. Bloomingdale had their celebration scheduled for June 24, but there are events coming up so far in Wayne, Little Falls, Passaic, West Milford, and Clifton.
Here's what's in store around the July 4 holiday in Passaic County, as well as information about when and where.

- Wednesday, July 5 beginning at 6 p.m., at Wayne Hills High School (272 Berdan Ave). Fireworks start at approximately 9:15 p.m.
- The event includes inflatable rides (tickets available for purchase), and food options provided by Johnny Zeppoli. Admission is $10 per family and supports the Wayne Police Athletic League.
- Presented by the Wayne PAL. Rain date is July 6.

- Both events are Sunday, July 2.
- Picnic is 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Main Memorial Park (1395 Main Avenue, Clifton). Food, family crafts (from 1-3 p.m.), free rides, and activities.
- Fireworks are at Clifton Stadium (350 Piaget Ave.) at dusk; tickets are $3 per person and the ticket office opens at 7 p.m. The Clifton Community Band will be playing.
- Presented by the city. Rain date is July 9.
4th of July Street Fair in Little Falls
- Tuesday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Main Street and Stevens Avenue in Little Falls. Admission is free.
- The longstanding events promises food trucks, crafters and retail vendors, music, and a kids' area.
- Presented by Little Falls PBA #346 and We're All Tied Up.
City of Passaic Family Festival and Fireworks, and Avenue of Flags
- Fireworks are at 9 p.m. on July 4 at Pulaski Park (100 Fourth Street, Passaic).
- The annual Family Festival with food, fun, games, and rides runs Friday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 4. Hours are Friday 6-10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 3-10 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday 3-9 p.m. with fireworks Tuesday.
- Presented by the city. Fireworks rain date is Wednesday, July 5.
- Mayor Hector C. Lora and the city will celebrate the new Avenue of Flags on Monday, July 3 at noon at Third Ward Memorial Park (350 Passaic Avenue). This new way to commemorate national holidays will see flags lining streets in the city throughout the year, the mayor envisions.
West Milford Township Fireworks
- Friday, June 30 from 6 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. in the field behind West Milford High School (67 Highlander Drive). $10 per car; gates open at 6 p.m. close at 8:45 p.m. No pets, no coolers, no alcohol.
- Family, food, music, and entertainment to celebrate the 4th of July.
