No. 1 National Running Back From Wayne To Announce College Choice Thursday

Kareem Walker will announce what Division 1 college he will attend live on MSGVarsity.com today at 12:30 p.m.
The number one-ranked running back in the country, the DePaul Catholic star has been recruited by more than two dozen of the nation’s elite football powers, including Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, and the current No. 1 team in the country, Clemson, according to ESPN.com.
Walker, at 6 feet, 200 pounds, is ranked number 31 in ESPN’s Top 300.

A Wayne resident, Walker is projected to attend Michigan, 24/7sports.com reported. According to that website, there is a 73 percent chance he becomes a Wolverine. The next closest school is Alabama at 17 percent.
Walker posted on Twitter Wednesday night the magnitude of the decision he faces.
