Learning Express Accepting Toy Donations Through Angel Tree

The Wayne retailer is looking for people to donate toys through the Salvation Army program.

WAYNE, N.J. — Learning Express Toys is helping boys and girls have a memorable Christmas by participating in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program.

The Angel Tree programs brings Christmas gifts to families facing unemployment, medical issues, or other difficult circumstances who are not able to purchase gifts.

Customers may choose a gift tag from the Christmas tree at Learning Express Toys and purchase a gift for a needy child.

Store owners Peter and Hana Farewege understand the importance of giving back to the community.

“We see every day how delighted kids are when they pick out a new toy at our store," Peter Farewege said. "We want to bring that same joy to children going through a difficult time this holiday season."

The store, located in the Preakness Shopping Center on Hamburg Turnpike, will be collecting donations through Dec. 20.
