Longtime Wayne Teacher, Assistant Principal Named Wayne Hills Principal

BREAKING: Rewick hopes to create opportunities for students and staff to nurture skills that will lead to fulfilling careers.

WAYNE, NJ — Mike Rewick, a long-time district teacher and assistant principal, has been appointed principal of Wayne Hills High School.

The Board of Education approved Rewick's appointment recently. He will begin at head of the school July 1. He replaces Maureen Weir, who became the district's director of secondary education in January. Rewick was appointed interim principal after Weir resigned.

Rewick hopes to create opportunities for students and staff to nurture skills that will lead to fulfilling careers, Superintendent Mark Toback said in a press release.
