On Saturday, around 4:15 p.m., police were called to the area of Hamilton Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson on reports of shots fired. Authorities discovered a 28-year-old man had been shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for the non-fatal wounds, police said. A crime scene was established, and the investigation is underway. No suspects have been announced at this time. Anyone with information on the shooting is encouraged to call the Paterson Police Shooting Investigation Unit at 973-321-1342.
