'Terri's extensive legal background affords her intimate knowledge of the responsibilities of the Surrogate's Office,' the mayor said.

Editor's note: The following letter was submitted by Wayne Mayor Christopher P. Vergano.

It gives me great pleasure to write this letter in support of Pompton lakes Councilwoman Terri Reicher’s bid for the Passaic County Surrogate’s Office.

Councilwoman Reicher possesses the qualifications essential to be an effective and knowledgeable surrogate. In addition to being a three-term councilwoman, Terri is also a skillful attorney with more than 30 years of experience. Terri’s extensive legal background affords her intimate knowledge of the responsibilities of the Surrogate’s Office and the preparedness to address these matters without hesitation. She is proficient in the execution of estates, trusts, and wills and has dedicated her career to compassionate end of life planning.

Likewise, in her tenure as a councilwoman, Terri has faced the many challenges and demands of this office and has reacted with immediate and appropriate resolutions.

Having known Terri for many years, I can say with the utmost confidence that she is a woman of great integrity who will provide exceptional service to our Passaic County residents. She embodies the dedication and experience necessary to provide a responsive, user-friendly Passaic County Surrogate’s Office.
