New Bus Service Starts From North Jersey To D.C.
Hop on an OurBus and go right to downtown Washington, D.C. for as low as $16.

A new bus service is taking North Jersey customers directly to Washington, D.C. is expanding its service options.
OurBus started the service Monday from New Brunswick, but announced this week it starting picking people up in Union City due to the high demand. Service is offered seven days a week. There are no stops along the way.
Fares range from $20 to $24 one-way and can be as low as $16. Amtrak tickets cost anywhere from $80 to $200.

“This service will make it possible for Northern New Jersey residents to catch a long distance bus, without having to go into Manhattan, and then back out, saving about an hour,” announced OurBus Transportation Planner Axel Hellman, “No one wants to spend that much time going through the Lincoln Tunnel when they don’t have to.”
OurBus has reclining seats, on-board restrooms, free Wi-Fi and charging stations.

The company is constantly creating and adjusting routes based on customer demand and crowd sourcing. Customers provide them with their work and home ZIP codes and then an algorithm creates a direct bus route for people who live and work near each other.
"The faster commuters sign up for OurBus, the faster we will begin serving their communities,” OurBus founder Narinder Singh previously said. “We have already seen lots of interest from nearby towns such as North Brunswick, Monroe and Edison.”
