New Fitness Center Will Help Locals Get 'Stretched' In Wayne

StretchLab will open a studio in Wayne at Brentwood Plaza Shopping Center, the fitness company said.

WAYNE, NJ — A new wellness concept is opening in Wayne, promising to help local residents stretch out their tightness and gain increased mobility and flexibility in their bodies.

StretchLab offers a team of highly trained Flexologists® to "give you a deeper stretch than you could ever achieve on your own." The company plans to open a studio at 1595-1659 Route 23 South, in the Brentwood Plaza.

StretchLab offers one-on-one stretch exercises that are customized to the person's specific needs, focusing on the problem area or targeting certain muscle groups. And there are group stretching sessions that are led by a Flexologist, which have a maximum of six people at a time.

"No two bodies are the same and no two stretches at StretchLab are the same," the company site says.

The franchise says hat their stretches offer many benefits including improved sports performance, increased range of motion and flexibility, reduced muscle and joint pain, improved posture, and reduced stress. StretchLab also offers monthly memberships.
