New Indoor Go-Kart Track Off To The Races Near Wayne Township

The venue has dual elevated go-kart tracks, an arcade, a lounge, and more.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A new go-kart establishment is off to the races in Passaic County, just a few miles away from Wayne Township.

Last month, K1 Speed opened its second New Jersey location in Totowa, located at 670 Union Boulevard. The amusement center’s first New Jersey location is in Cinnaminson.

The Totowa location has dual elevated go-kart tracks, the first of its kind on the East Coast. Racers can travel up to 45 mph across 2,000 feet of track spread across two multi-level circuits.

“Thrill-seekers, racing enthusiasts, and families alike, brace yourselves for the most exhilarating racing adventure you’ve ever encountered,” a statement read. “With state-of-the-art electric go-karts, K1 Speed offers an eco-friendly and high-performance driving experience that will leave you breathless. Feel the rush of speed as you navigate through challenging twists and turns on our professionally designed indoor tracks, ensuring maximum excitement and safety for all.”

There are options for all skill levels, and children can participate with speed limits of 20 mph.

In addition to races, K1 features an arcade, as well as a casual dining lounge with burgers, wings, pizzas, desserts, and more. Adults can also select from a variety of beer and wine.

The venue also offers party times for birthday parties, corporate events, team building, and group gatherings.

K1 in Totowa is open from noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 12 a.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
