North Jersey Man Accused Of Raping Child In New York, Cops Say
The man is also accused of showing the child "indecent material," police said.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Passaic County man is facing rape charges following an incident in upstate New York, police say.
Ryan A. Hand, 23, of West Milford, is accused of raping a minor and showing them “indecent material”, according to New York State Police.
After receiving a tip, New York state troopers launched an investigation revealing that Hand had sexual conduct with a child under 17 years old, authorities said.

The incident took place in the Town of Gallatin, in Columbia County, sometime in 2025, police added.
Hand is charged with third-degree rape and first-degree disseminating indecent material to a minor.

He was arraigned in Gallatin Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 25.
