North Jersey Orthodontics Celebrates 25th Anniversary
Dr. Ellen has served thousands of children, teens and adults with personalized, quality care for 25 years
North Jersey Orthodontics is celebrating 25 years of providing personalized, quality orthodontic care to children, teens and adults in northern New Jersey. Founded in 1994 by owner Dr. Elizabeth Ellen, North Jersey Orthodontics remains committed to bringing stunning smiles for patients in Franklin Lakes, Wayne and the surrounding communities. Since its inception, North Jersey Orthodontics has treated thousands of patients with braces, retainers and Invisalign.
The philosophy at North Jersey Orthodontics can be summed up in these words: "compassionate and conscientious care with open communication.” Dr. Ellen’s focus has always been on treating people, not just teeth, and on building personal relationships with patients and their parents. The staff is well trained and extremely qualified, with many years of experience behind them. The doctor and her staff address all matters promptly, professionally, and personally.
Not only does Dr. Ellen work with those individuals who are particularly fearful of orthodontic treatment, but she also specializes in working with children with special needs. She provides them with the extra attention and time they need to make them feel comfortable throughout the entire process. All her patients benefit from her loving and caring personality.

Dr. Ellen loves what she does and the opportunity to make positive changes in the lives of her patients. She helps children who cover their smiles with their hands to hide crooked teeth, and adults who never had the opportunity to pursue treatment in their youth. She fondly remembers one patient who was extremely fearful and would not open her mouth for her exam. Dr. Ellen shares, “For this particular girl, we set up appointments when no other patients were present. With each visit we gained her trust and she gradually felt more comfortable. She eventually had appointments scheduled during normal office hours and she interacted with other patients and staff beautifully. There were tears in our eyes the day her braces were removed.”
Dr. Ellen has the same passion today that she did when she began her practice 25 years ago. She feels blessed to be surrounded by fun, caring and highly skilled staff. Most of all, she loves the patients who have made it possible to do the work that she loves. She adds “I consistently feel that each patient and their family not only become great friends but like family.” North Jersey Orthodontics provides quality treatment in a warm and inviting atmosphere where children and adults feel relaxed and receive the most professional care and attention that they deserve.
