Opinion: Town Must Remove 'Illegal' Blue Line Immediately
One Wayne resident wants the cost incurred to paint the line on Valley Road refunded.

WAYNE, N.J. — The media has reported recently on what many of us knew, that the blue line painted on the roadway in front of the Wayne Municipal Complex on Valley Road was done so illegally and in direct and clear violation of the applicable referenced code.
Yet, the township did it anyway, using taxpayer treasure and paid city staff to do it in concert with uniformed, on-duty police officers using publicly-owned vehicles and assets in furtherance of an illegal operation.
Comes now the demand that the township remove the illegal violation post haste and without delay, and that any and all taxpayer costs be refunded by any and all signatories to the illegal offense, supervisors and directors who aided and abetted the illegal action either by omission to commission that resulted in and maintained this illegal traffic condition within the township.
