Packanack Lake Triathlon is June 4

The annual Packanack Lake Triathlon will be held Saturday, June 4.

Participants start the event with a half-mile long swim in Packanack Lake. Starting from the East Beach, athletes will swim to the largest section of the lake and back. 

The bike course is a hilly tour of all the lake has to offer. This 12-mile ride is primarily through tree-lined residential streets. More than 20 police officers will be on hand to guide participants along the course and keep people safe. 

The event wraps up with a 5-kilometer run around the lake. Water stations will be located throughout the running course.

There will be bagels, sandwiches, and fruit available at the finish line at the East Beach.
