Parking Prohibited On Wayne Snow-Covered Streets

WAYNE, NJ — With the impending snow storm looming over the city, township officials remind residents that parking is prohibited on snow-covered streets.

The double-wave storm, the fourth possible nor'easter to hit New Jersey in three weeks, could be a "long-duration event" packing 45 mph winds. The bulk of the storm is expected to come in two waves, especially on Wednesday, and could extend the nor'easter to a 36-hour system.

The Wayne Public School District has used all of its snow days. Three make-up days were added to the school calendar. School will be in session April 4, 5 and 6. Spring Break was originally scheduled for those days. (See Related: 3 Make-Up Days Added To Wayne School Calendar)
