Passaic Co. Man Imprisoned For Possessing Child Pornography
The man downloaded more than 600 images of child sexual abuse, according to federal authorities.
WEST MILFORD, NJ — A Passaic County man who downloaded hundreds of child-pornography images was sentenced Wednesday to seven years in prison. Vaughn Tiedeman, of West Milford, must also pay restitution of $9,000 to the victims.
Tiedeman, 49, previously pleaded guilty in Newark federal court to receipt and possession of child pornography. The man downloaded more than 600 images, including depictions of violence, between July 2018 and April 2019, according to U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger.
U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton also sentenced Tiedeman to 10 years of supervised release.
