PATERSON, NJ — A Paterson man shared child pornography that featured victims as young as 2 years old, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office. Imad Uddin faces several charges after sharing explicit images and videos of children via Facebook Messenger, authorities said.
Uddin was arrested Tuesday without incident. The Passaic County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began investigating the 24-year-old, who obtained, distributed and maintained files depicting the sexual exploitation of minors, according to authorities.
The videos showed nude children — ranging from approximately 2 to 12 years old —engaging in sexual acts, the prosecutor's office said. Uddin was charged with one count of manufacturing child pornography (first-degree), two counts of possessing child pornography (third-degree), one count of child-pornography distribution (second-degree), one count of storing or maintaining child pornography on a file-sharing program (second-degree) and one count of leading a child-pornography network (third-degree).
