Passaic Co. Sells 3 Winning Lottery Tickets, Combined At $90K

It wasn't the Mega Millions jackpot, which hit $1.1 billion, but 2 tickets generated some nice prizes.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — The Mega Millions jackpot remains up for grabs, hitting $1.1 billion for Tuesday's drawing. But three lottery tickets sold in Passaic County earned some nice prizes last weekend.

The three tickets combined for $90,000 in winnings. Two of the winning tickets stemmed from Friday's Mega Millions contest, matching four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball. The following locations sold the tickets:

  • Jackpocket (355 Warwick Tpke., Hewitt): $30,000. The ticket was purchased with the Megaplier option, which tripled the prize.
  • Quick Stop (1353 Ringwood Ave., Haskell): $10,000.

JackPocket, which runs a third-party app for lottery sales, also sold a ticket that generated $50,000 from Saturday's Powerball drawing. The ticket matched four of the five white balls (35, 36, 44, 45 and 67) and the Red Power Ball number of 14.
