Passaic County Lottery Player Wins $50K
Five New Jersey lottery players took home $50,000 in the Monday Powerball drawing, lottery officials said.

HEWITT, NJ — Five New Jersey lottery players took home $50,000 in the Monday Powerball drawing, but compared to one player in California, they were merely runners-up.
One California Lottery ticketholder won the $699.8 million Powerball jackpot from the Monday drawing, the fifth largest Powerball jackpot on record, and the first jackpot won in a Monday drawing, officials said.
Still, $50,000 is absolutely nothing to scoff at, and the winners were all located in North Jersey.
